The code field
The code field allows you to add custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript to a page on your website.
As standard, this field is only available for use within the code block.
However, this type of field can also be added to custom blocks.
The code field appears as a dark grey text area-like input that will automatically syntax highlight any HTML, CSS or JavaScript added within it.
Any HTML, CSS or JavaScript you add to a code field will be executed on your website.
Below is an example of the code field within the standard code block:
The code block is intended for client-side scripting only. Easy Eatery will not permit the execution of any server-side code added to any code fields. Any code in languages such as ASP, PHP, Ruby or similar will be output as plain text.
